For groups

Increasingly, groups are using our beautiful home for Alpha courses, ‘away days’ and leadership training. It is the ideal place to enjoy a peaceful environment and have encounters with God - whether that be in a meeting, or having times of fellowship in the company of friends in our relaxed and informal atmosphere. Groups, (consisting of a minimum of four people), often visit for the day and have exclusive use of our large lounge which accommodates 15 people comfortably. A piano, flipchart and audio-visual equipment are also available to use.

Alternatively, groups of up to 9 guests (or 10-15 if sharing) can stay overnight.

We find that groups often have their own timetable. This usually follows the standard pattern of the day at Stanton House, but where a group has booked the whole House, the timetable can be tweaked a little to take into account the group’s specific needs. Depending on the requirements of each group, we can provide morning coffee on arrival, lunch (main meal) and afternoon tea with cake. Breakfast and supper is also provided if you are enjoying our overnight facilities. Information on meals can be found in ‘Accommodation and dining.’
