The day will offer a quiet space to reflect at this time of advent, considering both the humanity and divinity of our Lord Jesus. Led by Janey Petterson, an experienced retreat leader and creative practitioner, you will be invited to experience a little teaching, a lot of listening and some simple ‘making’ in white air-dry clay. Absolutely no previous experience is necessary; in fact, the less experience you have the more you will benefit from this day! Just come, relax, and enjoy time apart from the bustle of daily life. Come on your own or with friends. Stay for the day or make the most of your time in the presence of God by booking as a residential guest (rates available from the office or in the ‘Tariffs’ section of the website).

About Janey…

Janey has been a professional photographer for some 35 years and has also dabbled in drama, a bit of teaching, a bit of direction and a bit of writing. About 10 years ago, Janey got her hands into clay and fell in love with the medium. This love affair has resulted in designing and leading a series of retreat days, focusing on a specific spiritual dynamic each time, and making a piece out of clay which attempts to embody that dynamic.
